In partnership with the University of California Santa Cruz and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), an impact evaluation of FtMA will be conducted in 2022.
In the meantime, a mobile phone survey of supported farmers in 2021 revealed a few key findings:
- On average, farmers were selling 70% of their total production
- 64% of farmers are aware of aflatoxins (compared to 55% in 2020).
- 97% of farmers reported lower post-harvest losses than the same stage in 2020
