For smallholder farmers, FtMA offers a coordinated mechanism, a multi-stakeholder partnership that systematically connects players across the value chains to provide access to products and services, supported by knowledge from both the public and private sector, at global, national or local levels.
While there has been a direct financial benefit to most farmers, as their incomes have increased as they sold more crops, the benefits have often been more fundamental and longer lasting.

Our Strategic Partners offer FtMA technical support and expertise towards building our business model through the Farmer Service Centres (FSC).
Our Implementing partners are our boots on the ground. Through field staff, they coordinate the various partnerships, FSCs and farmers and ensure the efficient running of the ecocystem. They also train FSCs and farmers on conservation, best agricultural practices and agroforestry.
Our productivity partners ensure the Small Holder Farmers (SHF) have access to quality inputs and the right information on how to use them for improved and increased productivity.
Our funding partners ensure FtMA is able to achieve its objectives through catalytic funding; with the ultimate aim of private sector increasing their investment in the business model and activities, as donor funding decreases.
